A witty tale, the story begins with Kathi Kantharao (naresh) who is an ordinary police constable but then he has heavy responsibilities as he has four sisters, two of them married, two yet to get married. His father (dharmavarapu) gets a written agreement that Kantha Rao must not fall in love or get married till he fulfills all his commitments. However, Kantha Rao falls in love with Ratnam (kamna) and both of them get intimate as well. Now, he has to resolve the problems of his sisters and also ensure that he marries Ratnam quickly. On the other hand, his boss SI Kanakaratnam (jeeva) develops a grudge on Kantha Rao. How does he resolve all this forms the rest of the story.
