Vijay Awards 2011 – Grand Function – 5th Vijay Awards – Watch and Download

The huge success of Vijay Awards for the past four years has made the organizers come out with Vijay Awards for 2011 as well. The award show, a first of its kind in South India, lets the common man vote for his favourite stars and films. As part of the ground activity, a mobile van (Rasigan Express) would travel to the key cities in Tamil Nadu over a period of two weeks, getting viewers to nominate their favourite hero, heroine, director and film.

The flag off of the Rasigan Express held at Chennai on June 01, 2011 at AVM Studios. Film maker S.A. Chandrasekar, producer AVM Saravanan and R. Sarathkumar, president, South Indian Film Artists’ Association, took part in the event. The jury members for the Fifth Annual Vijay Awards comprises Yugi Sethu, actors Radhikaa Sarathkumar, Karthik, director A. R. Murugadoss and cinematographer Ravi K. Chandran.

The Nokia 16th annual STAR Screen Awards was held at the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) grounds on Saturday, January 9, 2010. 138 hindi films were released in the year 2009. Out of these 21 films have been selected for nominations for Awards in various categories.

16th Annual Star Screen awards were announced last night. As expected Amitabh bachchan won the award for best actor for his performance in Paa and Vidya too got the award for best female actor for Paa and the surprise package Omi Vaidya(Silencer) was given most promising new comer award.

In a glittering and star-studded night, the 54th Filmfare awards have been announced and the talents of Bollywood were awarded for their hard work and success. Held at the Yashraj Studios in suburban Mumbai and hosted by two newbie of the industry, Ranbir Kapoor and Imran Khan, the event turned out to be fresh and more entertaining. As the nominees walked the red carpet donned in designer clothes, tension and excitement brewed on their face.
