Story:
A gripping tale, the story is set on the backdrop of Kolkata and here comes Vidya Bagchi (Vidya Balan) all the way from London. She is seven months pregnant and the objective of her visit is to trace her missing husband. To add to the woes, there is no specific evidence she has but only few distant memories. But all these clues take her nowhere and Vidya begins to conclude that her husband is no more. Amidst this, she discovers a blatant truth about how the city is filled with deceit and vows to find her husband even if that would mean sacrificing her life.

Story Line:

A well knit tale, the story begins with two lovers Ramesh (jishu) and Hem (raima) in Kolkata. Ramesh gets an urgent call from his father in the village and he leaves. On reaching there, he discovers that he is forced to marry Susheela, daughter of a widow. Despite revealing his affair, he is persuaded to marry. Both set sail back to Kolkata but a storm strikes. Ramesh opens his eyes to see a young bride. He gets her to Kolkata and it is discovered that she is Kamala (riya) not Susheela. Her husband is a doctor by name Nalinaksha (prosenjit). Ramesh decides to get Kamala to Nalinaksha. What happens to Hem and what happens to Ramesh forms the rest of the story.

Story Line:

A dark tale, the story is about Susanna (priyanka) who is in the search for true love. She marries a major Edwin (neil) who turns out to be possessive and suspicious. He gets killed and Susanna marries the musician Jimmy (john), but he is a drug addict and womanizer, so he dies of drug overdose. Then she marries the poet Wasiullah (irrfan) who is a lover in day but sadist at night, even he is removed. Then Susanna comes across Nicolai (aleksandr dyachenko) aRussian but after marriage she discovers that he already has a wife and kids in Russia. The death of Nicolai gets officer Keemat Lal (annu kapoor) in the scene and he begins to lust Susanna. Eventually, he also forces her to marry him but dies of cardiac arrest after that. Then comes Dr Modhusudon (naseer) who discovers Susanna is in depression and puts her on a special diet but eventually he wants to get rid of her and dies. Then comes the seventh marriage and the groom knows that Susanna has done all the crimes. What happens after that forms the rest of the story.

Nihal Singh from Chandigarh is simple boy who talks too much, questions everything and has a brilliant mind and an oddball sort of charm. He adores his mother, has dreams of studying in the most elite institute of science. But Nihal has a secret. He joined in dream college in Bombay city full of color, new people and new challenges to be met. Initially nobody takes him seriously. He is ragged by his seniors, insulted by the girl he likes Meesha. Nihal slowly wins them over. Meesha is proud, rude and rolling in money. Story Line:

Kasoor is a suspense story. Aftab Shivdasani is the editor of a newspaper, owned by his wife. She is murdered. Police accuses Aftab as he inherits the property. Lisa Ray is a conscious lawyer who fights the cases of innocent people only. Aftab convinces her that he is innocent and she fights the case. Apoorva Agnihotri is Lisa Ray’s assistant. who is also in love with her. He is not conivinced that Aftab is innocent, but he sticks to his job. Story Line:

Anant Srivastava (Amitabh Bachchan), a man who has accomplished precious little in his career as an officer, regardless of various promotions. He, and his chosen team are to go to Chandangarh and bring terrorist Dr. Iqbal Ansari (Atul Kulkarni) to a Mumbai court. Synopsis:

This remake of Subhash Ghai’s 1980s super hit Karz has basically the same storyline as the original with a little twist added to it. So for all those who haven’t seen the original, the plot goes like this – Kamini (Urmila) marries Ravi Verma (Dino Morea) for his riches and bumps him off immediately after their marriage. Two decades later, the biggest music sensation in South Africa, Monty (Himesh) one day suddenly during a rehearsal starts playing a tune and goes into a trance, with intense visual flashes of a mansion, a temple, a beautiful girl and ends up collapsing unconscious. Further a flash back reveals that Monty was actually Ravi Verma in his previous life, married to a beautiful girl called Kamini. Monty now has the grave realization of having been reborn in his current persona. His beautiful love interest (Tina) is none other than Kamini’s foster daughter. From here starts Monty’s new journey. A journey of revenge! How he accomplishes it and gives justice to Ravi Verma’s hapless old mother and sister forms the rest of the film.

Avantika (Kareena Kapoor), a Psychology professor in New York, decides to make her way back to India to be with her ailing father. As soon as they settle in, Avantika manages to find a job for Ehsaan at a local University. Their neighbours are conservative Muslims and their lifestyles are a revelation to Avantika. At dinner, she is taken away from Ehsaan into another quarter where all the women dine separately. They all seem to blindly accept and obey the code of conduct set by Nasreen, who along with her husband Bhaijaan are almost the de facto head of the neighborhood. All of them look up to her. Story Line:

Baadshah Khan (Amitab Bachan) falls in love with Benazir, a member of a rival clan who has defeated him in a game of buzkashi. Story Line:

Kuch Kuch Hota Hai is a triangle love story with Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol and Rani Mukherjee playing the lead roles. Kajol plays as a friend of SRK, whom she is also in love with but is unable to express. But SRK falls for the beautiful charms of Rani.
Shah Rukh Khan and Rani get married and have a child then Rani dies and child grows up to be a charming little girl. She discovers from her mother’s diary about Kajol’s love for her father. The girl decides to find Kajol and get her married to her father. The little girl searchs for Kajol and finally finds her. But it is a bit late since Kajol is now engaged to Salman Khan.
