Story

Shankar (Kota Srinivas rao) and Pandit (Prasad) are rivals and Gang war takes place between them in Hyderabad City . Durga Malleswari (Charmi) is a dance teacher; she comes all the way from Vizag to Hyderabad with her team of kids to participate in a dance competition called “Sye Aata”. Panda (Ajay) son of Pandit falls in love with Malleswari. How she gets involved into the gang killings forms the remaining part?

Performances

Charmi looked good and performed reasonably well. Kota Srinivas rao and Prasad are okay. Ajay’s role is limited to a couple of Scenes. MS Narayana, Suman Shetty, Rao Ramesh and Master Bharath are okay. The remaining cast have nothing much to do. Art Direction is good. Cinematography is below Average. Music by DeviSri Prasad is good. Dialogues are Okay in a couple of Scenes. Story is very weak (It’s a Single line one). Screenplay and Direction are bad.

Analysis

Charmi stuck behind all the present trend lead heroines only because of her bad taste in selecting movies. Charmi has been doing films with poor story and star value. All her films are ending up as disasters these days and this film is not an exception. Charmi is beautiful and back in shape (with flat tummy). She danced well too. All the songs are choreographed well. They looked good on the screen; the songs appeared more like stage performances. The graphics work in the first song (shot in Vizag) with an animated character was good. The Visual effects in the remaining part of the film were sub- standard.

ETV Prabhakar, as right hand to Kota Srinivas appeared in a few Scenes. Rao Ramesh looked good in a couple scenes as Police Officer. OMKAR of ‘Aata’ Dance show fame and choreographer Prem Rakshith appeared in small cameos (as themselves). All the kid dancers of the dance show too appeared on the screen. Music by Devi Sri Prasad is good. All the songs are lilting dance numbers with heavy orchestra. The background Score too is okay. The comedy is very cheap. The basic story plot is very weak and the Narration made it even worse. The Director’s screenplay is so loose and scattered that you are convinced; he couldn’t have been serious about his work.

It is hard even to attract B, C centers Crowd with such poor Scripts.

Plus: Charmi, Music

Minus: Story, Screenplay, Direction

Verdict: Please don’t risk yourselves…; it gives you a feeling that you are watching an extended Version of a TV reality dance competition Show.
