Story Line :

The film is about a singer (Mohan) who finds fame and fortune in a city but the loss of his love (Ambika) makes him an errant. With the sole dream of being a great singer,the hero lands in Madras(now Chennai)only to forever lose his ladylove,who comes to the same town in search of him. Lovelorn,he more and more becomes withdrawn and hates human company but brought back by a young girl(Radha)to the living world. When things get a little complicated as he is misread by others to be in love with the girl(Radha) he clears the air by proclaiming his love for his only girl who died. At the wedding, the bride(Radha),who loves him truly, doesn’t take the knot but consumes poison to tell the world she could never take anyother man as her husband.
