Story of Chirunavutho :

Venu (Venu) is an orphan, who is brought up by his mama (Chandra Mohan). On the wedding night of Venu his mama Aruna (Prema) runs away from home as he is cook not suitable for her. Venu, philosophy is to live happily with smile all the time. Venu comes to city and stays at a friend place. There he meets Sandhya (Shaheen), a happy-go-lucky girl and saves her from rape by goons. Sandhya plants a kiss on the cheeks of Venu as a token appreciation.

Over a period of time Sandhya becomes pretty close to Venu and both of them are fond of each other. On her birthday Venu wishes to express his love but get shocked that she is getting married soon with Pratap (Prakash Raj). Venu tells Sandhya that he loves her for which she says sorry.Even after engagement Venu believes that Sandhya still loves him, but she is not in a position to know her heart. Venu backs himself away from her. Aruna, comes back and whom Venu will marry now forms the rest of the movie.
