Story Line:

A convict cheats his criminal boss and goes away from his family. His wife with bad luck turns blind leaving their three children. They are adopted by a Hindu policeman (Amar), a Muslim tailor (Akbar), and a Catholic priest (Anthony). The Hindu raised son(Vinod Khanna) becomes a policeman, Muslim-raised son(Rishi Kapoor) becomes a tailor and a singer; and the last sone (Amitabh Bacchan) raised by a catholic becomes a happy-go-lucky guy. Three boys meet again and came to know about their mother who recovers her sight nearer the ending .The story is re-unition of the family again along with their father.
