Story Line:

A young couple (Zeenat Aman and Rajesh Khanna) fall passionately in love and get married. She becomes a model and is very successful. When she discovers that she is pregnant, she fears that this will be the end of her looks and her career. Her husband wants her to have the baby but she wants go in for an abortion. The differences between them escalate and soon blow out of proportion.
