Story Line:

Devdas is the wealthy son of a high-caste landlord. He loves his childhood friend Paro, the daughter of a low-caste family. Devdas returns homefrom London completing his studies after ten years. Even though both Paro and devadas love each other, their casts and family status makes them depar and Paro married to a rich landowner. Devdas sinks into alcoholism, and difficult to stop loving her and even Paro admits still loving him. What happens to Paro and Devadas is the rest of the movie.
